Once all the waste has been removed, simply wash with soap and water (black soap, apple vinegar or washing-up liquid). Cleaning vinegar has the advantage of neutralizing odours. Rinse well after cleaning. Avoid abrasive sponges and corrosive soaps. To simplify the task, you can also unclip the lid. 

⚠ The compost bin cannot be washed in the dishwasher.
